The trick that turns a good run into a great one is a War Horn that sends your whole line charging as one, and once it clicks the whole game opens up. Your aim is simple to state and hard to do: Throw the raiders back into the cold grey sea.. It loads in a blink, plays as well with a thumb as with a keyboard, and asks nothing more than that you keep coming back for one more try. How to play

• You hold the left base; the enemy pushes from the right.
• Spend gold on unit cards to send stick fighters down the lane.
• Mix cheap swarms with costly heavies to break enemy waves.
• Upgrade your gold income and base defences between pushes.
• Destroy the enemy base before they overrun yours.

Controls

Desktop: click a unit card to spend gold and spawn it on your lane; number keys 1-4 also spawn. Mobile: tap a card to deploy. Units march and fight on their own — you manage the economy and timing.
