1. Nature of our products
ArcadeOwl is primarily a free service. Where we offer paid features, they are digital products — such as ad-removal, premium access, downloadable content or virtual in-game items — that are delivered electronically and consumed online.
2. Pricing & currency
Prices are displayed at checkout. Customers in India are charged in INR through Razorpay; international customers are charged through Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant-of-record, in the currency shown. Applicable taxes (such as GST) are included or added as indicated at checkout.
3. Refund eligibility
Because digital goods are delivered immediately, all sales are generally final. However, we will provide a refund in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate or accidental charge — you were charged more than once for the same item.
- Non-delivery — payment succeeded but the purchased feature or content was not unlocked, and we are unable to resolve it.
- Technical failure — a confirmed defect on our side prevents you from accessing what you paid for.
- Unauthorised transaction — a charge you did not authorise, subject to verification.
4. Non-refundable cases
- Change of mind after a digital item has been delivered or consumed.
- Virtual currency or items that have already been used, spent or partially consumed.
- Subscription periods already elapsed.
- Purchases made beyond the request window in Section 6 (except where required by law).
5. Subscription cancellations
You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the current paid period. We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period unless required by law.
6. How to request a refund
Email hello@arcadeowl.com within 7 days of the transaction with:
- The email address used for the purchase.
- The order/transaction or payment ID (from Razorpay or Dodo Payments).
- The reason for your request and any relevant screenshots.
7. Processing time
We aim to review refund requests within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Razorpay or Dodo Payments and typically reflect in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
8. Chargebacks
If you have an issue with a charge, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of access pending investigation.
