🔷 Desert Campaign: Raid
Desert Campaign: Raid is a slow, deliberate turn-based wargame fought on a pointy-top hex map — a campaign across burning dunes. Each turn you select a unit, move it across the hexes within its range and attack an enemy in reach: infantry are sturdy melee all-rounders, archers strike from two hexes away with no counterattack, and cavalry sweep three hexes to flank. Terrain matters — forest and hill hexes blunt the damage you take but cost extra movement, and water blocks the way entirely, so position before you strike. The mode is Capture HQ: fight through to seize the enemy headquarters. When you've spent your units, end the turn and the AI maneuvers and attacks by the same rules, so every move is a small puzzle of reach, terrain and counterattacks. Field tip: protect your own hq — if it falls, the battle is lost no matter how many units you have left. Destroy the enemy HQ to claim victory. It plays instantly in your browser on phone or desktop with tap-to-move-and-attack, highlighted movement and target ranges, WebAudio sound you can mute, pause and a one-tap restart — no download, no sign-up.
